Client: Broadacres Housing Association
Design Team: P+HS Architects, Stokesley

On behalf of the Broadacres Housing Association the development of eight new dwellings consisted of two apartments, two 2 bedroom houses and four 3 bedroom houses.

The new dwellings are constructed on traditional strip mass fill concrete foundations, are of a traditional masonry construction and highly insulated. The first floor of the apartments in order to give a good sound partition is constructed of a 200mm precast concrete plank, whereas the houses is a timber engineered joist system with chipboard deck.

The roof of timber trussed rafters is again highly insulated with 450mm loft roll and a double roman roof tile.

Each dwelling was fully installed with new electrical, mechanical and joinery installations throughout, including high standard specification fittings.

The development was finished with new parking areas, road and new services.
