Details

The houses were constructed of Timber Frame, with Brick Outer skin and highly insulated. External works were generally standard but with emphasis on SUDS guidance, e.g. soakaways rainwater recycling, and permeable paving. The development achieved various specification enhancements e.g. SAPS ratings being 44% improvement on Building Regulations, The Project also successfully complied with Secure by Design, and produced air and sound test results well above the standard Building Control requirements.

The Dwellings have been constructed to Code Level 4 incorporating Solar, PV, Log Burning stoves, exceptional U values and many more innovative principals, Moody Brothers played a leading role in achieving the code level 4 by translating the requirements into practical, workable and tenant/eco friendly solutions to harness resources and save energy e.g. Solar and Photovoltaic systems, water consumption reducing fittings, zoned heating, low energy fans, catalytic gas fires (90% plus efficient),high efficiency wood burning stoves.
